Immunolab GmbH, located in Kassel (Germany), was founded in February 1992 by Brigitte Apel-Jacobsen and Dr. Hans-Jürgen Jacobsen. Both still hold the position of the general management of Immunolab.
During the first years the company was active as a routine laboratory involved in medical laboratory diagnostics. During the following years, first ELISA test kits have been developed, produced and successfully distributed in the areas of food analytics, infectious disease and allergy.
From the very beginning, our company has set a high value on quality. Hence, the certification of our quality management system according to DIN EN ISO 9001 and 13485 in 2002 represented a milestone in our company history. This was followed by the CE marking of our complete medical device product range proving its compliance with the European In-Vitro Diagnostic Directive 98/79/EC.
In 2007 the company moved to our own facility. This was another important step in the successfull development of our company. The premises of this facility have a modern laboratory equipment and up-to-date communication options. As such they are optimally tailored to our requirements and activities.
Our high-performance team consists of 25 motivated and skilled employees. Most of them work for Immunolab for many years providing their profound experience in the production, development and distribution of immunological test kits.
Currently, Immunolab is producing more than 150 different immunological test kits and reagents from the areas of Clinical Diagnostics and Food Analytics. We are proud to state that all current products have been developed by our company.
Our high quality products are established for many years at national and international customers. Diagnostic manufacturers, clinics, private laboratories and an established network of international distribution partners rely on the high standard and quality of our products as well as on our premium service.
