Microscope warm stage system
Since 1989 LEC Instruments has developed over 70 different warm stages to fit various models of microscopes. We also install heaters inside a wide range of microscope stages to maintain original focal distance. This technique is especially helpful where mechanical stages are used, as the heated stage does not interfere with the mechanical stage.

CO2 Incubator
The new, simple and efficient method for culturing mammalian oocytes, embryos and other sensitive cells or tissue.
Each embryo culture dish is wrapped in a sealable foil bag designed for non-permeability of oxygen and carbon dioxide. After filling with the appropriate gas mixture, the bags are heat-sealed and submerged into a water bath. Thus each culture dish exists as an individual incubator, using water instead of air as a heat mediator.

To cater for a variety of test tubes sizes, the incubator has interchangeable aluminium blocks containing cavities for test tubes and operates from an internal 12 volt battery, charger or vehicle. CO2 version also available.

Test tube warmer
LEC test tube warmers consist of a tall aluminium block containing a temperature sensor for temperature feedback. This results in excellent temperature control.

Warming trays
The warming trays are flat plates standing on 4 rubber feet approximately 24 mm high, with an inbuilt heater and temperature controller. Various sizes are available.

Thermocouples
One of our thermocouples is manufactured from very thin (0.25 mm) wire to enable a speedy response time. Temperature range is from -200 oC to +200 oC.
