Waterborne?, Inc. was started in 1991 by Dr. Henry H. Stibbs, PhD. His research, focused on the detection and identification of Giardia and Cryptosporidium in surface water and in animal reservoir hosts, spawned the development of Waterborne's "Glo" products.

Products include fluorescent and other monoclonal and polyclonal antibody products for use in isolation and detection of infectious waterborne protozoa, e.g. Cryptosporidium, Giardia, and Encephalitozoon (microsporidia) species.
