Since 1997 ZEUTEC Opto-Elektronik GmbH works in the field of opto-electronic measurement systems. At the beginning special emphasis was given to the distribution of miniature spectrophotometers, spectroscopy components and image analysis systems. Today ZEUTEC Opto-Elektronik GmbH has a broad product portefolio consisting of miniature spectrophotometers, light sources and accessories, that allow the development and integration of complex opto-electronic measurement systems.

Typical applications for the classical spectrophotometers, all based on UV/VIS/NIR diode array technology, are LED and Laser wavelength and intensity measurements, industrial color measurement as well as traditional UV/VIS and NIR spectroscopy in different fields of research and development.

In 2000 Specim Ltd. from Finland and ZEUTEC Opto-Elektronik GmbH started a cooperation focussing on imaging spectroscopy (Hyperspectral Imaging). A new product family consisting of different spectrographs with transmission gratings form the center of the exclusive distribution, the system integration and the service for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

These new spectrographs are integrated with CCD-, CMOS- and InGaAs cameras creating fast, extraordinary imaging spectroscopy systems for research and development as well as industrial process applications that are sold to customers world wide. Based on these spectrographs and detector units ZEUTEC Opto-Elektronik GmbH develops highly integrated laboratory and On-Line measurement systems utilising mechanical and software engineering in house.

In 2001 another new product family from ILLUMINATION TECHNOLOGIES, USA was incorporated into ZEUTEC's product portefolio. The excellent quality of the fiberoptic coupled illumination systems for laboratory and process applications complements ZEUTEC's imaging spectrographs and image analysis systems and guarantees perfect performance of focussed applications.

Our people working in the demanding field of spectroscopy and image analysis provide a broad knowledge base that allows the fast implementation of industrial applications utilising spectroscopy and image analysis to improve the product quality in chemical processes or enable researchers to gather more information about their problems.

Especially the imaging spectroscopy and new detector technologies open up new innovative applications.
