Background

CASMED was founded in response to the medical community's expressed need for a device that could obtain fast, accurate blood pressure readings in newborns. In 1974, CASMED introduced the first blood pressure cuff designed specifically to meet the challenges of neonatal monitoring. In 1984, the company established its headquarters in Branford, CT, and officially incorporated as CAS Medical Systems, Inc. Through the years, our product offerings continued to evolve and expand, always focused on areas vital to patient care.
