瑞士Genionics成立于2007年.
Genionics is a privately owned Swiss biotech company headquartered in Schlieren at the Biotech Center of Zurich. The company was founded in 2007 by specialists in the fields of ion channel research and molecular biology and is thoroughly experienced in the development stages of modern drug discovery.

Our main focus is on ion channels, pore-forming proteins essential for the trafficking of ions in virtually every living cell. Along with kinases and GPCRs, ion channels belong to three most important drug target classes. The sequencing of the human genome (approximately 400 identified ion channel genes) as well as the advent of automated patch-clamp systems launched the ion channel revolution.

Ion channel analysis has so far not been able to make the leap to High Throughput Screening (HTS). Genionics offers next generation ion channel reagents to widen this bottleneck. Our unique screening concept will facilitate the discovery of new ion channel targets and will effectively open the door to a new frontier of treatments for ion channel diseases.
