We also have a majority ownership in IBC Pharmaceuticals, Inc., which is developing a novel Dock-and-Lock (DNL) methodology for making fusion proteins and multifunctional antibodies, and a new method of delivering imaging and therapeutic agents selectively to disease, especially different solid cancers (colorectal, lung, pancreas, etc.), by proprietary, antibody-based, pretargeting methods. We believe that our portfolio of intellectual property, which includes approximately 145 patents issued in the United States and more than 300 other patents issued worldwide, protects our product candidates and technologies.

We have transitioned our focus away from the development of diagnostic imaging products in order to accelerate the development of our therapeutic product candidates. Consistent with our de-emphasis on our diagnostic business, we no longer commercialize CEA-Scan?. LeukoScan? will continue to be manufactured and commercialized by us in territories where regulatory approvals have been granted. Furthermore, as of June 30, 2006, research and development into diagnostic product candidates was no longer a material portion of our business.
