ProGenTech Limited is a life science and molecular diagnostics company committed to developing next generation instrumentation for nucleic acid and protein purification and molecular diagnostic testing. The company was founded in 2005 and has offices in the San Francisco Bay Area and Shanghai.

The company’s proprietary Entura Lite instrument is a simple and efficient sample preparation platform designed to increase efficiency in the lab through true walk away automation. The Entura Lite is compatible with the company’s unique disposable cassettes, which carry all the reagents onboard that are required to isolate a variety of nucleic acids and proteins from a variety of sample types.

The Entura Lite platform and disposable cassette serves as the foundation for ProGenTech’s fully-integrated instrument for molecular diagnostic testing that is currently under development. The initial diagnostic assays for use on the integrated system will be specific to detecting hospital-acquired infection targets.
