 EuroClone S.p.A. was established in 1985 , as Polyfin srl, when it incorporated several companies that had been started by individual operators in the biomedical sector. Its purpose was to create synergies and reach the critical mass required to grow on the domestic and international markets.

The EuroClone Group has two Divisions: Life Sciences Division and BioAir Division

Life Sciences Division. Established in 1997 as a small research, development and production unit for a range of products in the then expanding pre and post-natal diagnostics field (cytogenetics).
Together with Euroclone Ltd. (incorporated in Great Britain) it soon became a leading supplier of reagents in Italy and other European markets.

The Life Sciences Division operates today in the following fields
Research: Cell Biology, Cytogenetics, Geonomics, Proteomics, Immunology and Equipment (for cytogenetic application and for monitorizing airborne contamination).
Diagnostics: Human, Food and Agriculture, Veterinary.

The development and marketing of innovative products created by the team of researchers and product managers resulted in a fast penetration of this market.

Thanks to the efforts of a team of dedicated and highly motivated sales persons, supported by a new production unit and by an efficient customer service division, the reputation of EuroClone Life Sciences Division was consolidated at European and global level.

EuroClone Life Sciences prestige is today evidenced by the strategic cooperation it has established with many scientists from European research institutes.

The company’s mission has always placed customer satisfaction among its primary objectives: it conditions its entire structures and is reflected in its investment policies.

BioAir Division. Founded in the late sixties by Gelman Instruments the Company manufactured and marketed throughout the seventies Contamination Control Equipment (CCE) under one of the most prestigious European brands. During the eighties, after being taken over by Flow Laboratories, the penetration in Europe grew further and the Company became the first European manufacturer of Biosafety Cabinets with a market share in excess of 20% overall in Western European countries. Products were also sold all over the world, in the USA, the Far East and Australia. When, in the early nineties another company acquired Flow Laboratories and decided to dispose of all their equipment manufacturing operations, BioAir was sold as part of a package to a group of workers who managed to keep the tradition and the skilfulness in CCE manufacturing alive and the sales of their products well established in main European markets.

Having being taken over a few years ago by the current Euroclone S.p.A. main shareholders, Bioair Instruments S.r.l. was born and the Company became again one of the most important players in the Contamination Control Equipment market worldwide.

As of January 1st 2006 BioAir Instruments S.r.l. has been incorporated in the Euroclone S.p.A. Group of Companies becoming one of its Divisions. This gave benefits to Bioair thanks to the resources, both logistic and financial, made available.

Today BioAir is one of Europe's leading manufacturers and supplier of highest quality Laminar Flow Cabinets and Chemical Hoods. In particular a large number of CCE, such as Microbiological Safety Cabinets, Laminar Downflow Workstation, Horizontal Laminar Air Flow Cabinets, PCR Workstation, Tissue Culture Benches, etc, and recirculating Fume Cupboards are part of Bioair product range to meet all the possible needs of the airborne contamination control in any environment.

BioAir products are manufactured strictly observing the latest European and International Standards. In particular the Microbiological Safety Cabinets are certified according to the EN12469 : 2000 Safety Standard. This, combined with the more than 30 years experienced skilfulness of its personnel and the total commitment to serve its customers, make the success of BioAir Contamination Control Equipments which overall reliability and performance are testified by their presence in research laboratories, hospitals and industries worldwide.

The Life Sciences and BioAir Divisions, operate through a network of over 50 Distributors and is currently in the process of strengthening its position within the European and global marketplace all over the world.
