美國Helixis 
Helixis公司成立于2007年，由美國加州理工學院生物學家，諾貝爾獎獲得者David Baltimore博士和電機工程專家Axel Scherer博士共同創立。總部設在美國的加利福尼亞州。

David Baltimore博士: 世界上最有影響的生物學家之一， 34歲獲得麻省理工學院生物學教授，36歲當選美國科學院院士，37歲因為在RNA病毒研究方面的突出貢獻獲得諾貝爾生理醫學獎，自1997‐2006年，擔任加州理工學院的院長。

Axel Scherer博士: 世界著名光子與微細加工專家，1993年開辦加州理工學院納米加工研究所，創立了光學晶體學，致力于半導體微加工技術研究，并應用于光子學和生物學設備，在世界光電子領域處于領先地位。2001年合作創辦了Luxtera公司，在新一代光子通訊技術方面，具有大量創新性專利，超越了IBM,Intel等公司，是SUN Microsystem （太陽微系統公司），Philips的技術合作伙伴。


Helixis, headquartered in Carlsbad, California, develops innovative nucleic acid tools for research and clinical diagnostics applications. The privately held company was founded in 2007 through a unique collaboration between molecular biologists and engineers in the labs of Nobel Laureate David Baltimore, Ph.D., and Axel Scherer, Ph.D., at the California Institute of Technology. Helixis is currently developing a new generation of high-performance, low-cost, real time polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) systems.

At Helixis, we are developing advanced nucleic acid analysis tools for the research scientist and clinical applications.
